This past weekend we headed out to Vickery Village in Cumming for the third annual Vickery Music Fest — and it was exactly the kind of afternoon-into-night lineup that makes Metro Atlanta's live music scene worth tracking. Two great sets, one stage, and a crowd that stuck around from the first song to the last.
Audio Vault Opened the Show
Audio Vault took the stage first, making their second appearance at the festival, and set the tone for the day with a set of crowd favorites that had people singing along early. They brought out their extended family for the occasion — Jenny on lead vocals and Julie on vocals and keys — and the extra voices on stage made for one of the fuller, more dynamic sets we've caught from them.
Suburban Angst Closed It Out
Suburban Angst brought the day home with a set of 90s rock that had the crowd locked in from the first riff. They played until close to 9pm, and by the end of it they'd genuinely brought the house down — the kind of closing set that makes you glad you didn't leave early.
Great Food, Great Drinks
It wasn't just about the music. Several local restaurants set up shop for the day, serving amazing fare alongside yummy cocktails and craft beer — the kind of spread that turns a music festival into an all-day hangout.
One Weekend, 257 Shows
Vickery Music Fest was one show among many. Between Friday and Sunday, SocialCircles.live had 257 events listed across 115 venues in Metro Atlanta — from Atlanta and Decatur to Marietta, Alpharetta, Cumming, Gainesville, Roswell, and beyond. Live music, DJ sets, comedy, trivia, and more, all happening within a short drive of wherever you were standing.
That's the whole idea behind SocialCircles.live: we're the only platform where you can search every event, artist, and venue across the metro in one place. No jumping between a dozen venue calendars and Instagram stories to piece together your weekend — it's all here, searchable by city, genre, or artist or Distance to YOU! The map feature is super cool and convenient!
Build Your Own Dashboard
Once you find artists and venues you love, save them. Favorite an artist, follow a venue, bookmark an event — and SocialCircles.live turns into a personalized dashboard built around what you actually want to see, so you never miss the next Vickery Music Fest, or whatever's happening in your neighborhood this weekend.
